A scarred child on an outlaws journey.

My art, like many others, was born from pain. It’s the vein through which I’m bloodletting the demons in my lineage. My past left me torn and scarred in numerous ways. I’ve survived inner city street life, attempted suicide, alcoholism and substance abuse, sexual compulsion and dysfunction, childhood sexual abuse and trauma, as well as homelessness and abandonment to give you an idea. I wandered aimlessly for years but, through art, I have found my voice.

Like a shade of shadows in too much light, I focus on the darker elements of experience and mental anguish. To journey with me is to plunge into the madness that is the abyss of artistic consumption. My art is as abstract as it is intuitive. I flow through whatever means the art dictates to purge itself from my person, like pressing a supernova of creative expression through the filter of blackened truth.

Art as Life. Life as a Singularity.

Artistically I have a “catch and release” mentality. As an improvisational and multi-disciplinary artist, I’ve developed the philosophy that authenticity doesn’t allow for re-creation. ONCE I’VE DONE IT, I’VE DONE IT! My purpose is not to redo it, but to understand or appreciate that it was. Personally, I hold the idea that art, like life, is to be experienced by the artist in its purest form: as a singularity. Weaving together the sum of my existence, I move and I breathe and I create to create anew. I have a full understanding of my humanity and my ability to exist in it.

Spirituality & Embodiment

I’ve learned art is spiritual, meditative, transcendental even. That, when practiced with a full heart, it leads to a sudden enlightenment. Like lovemaking, art takes as much skill as innate talent. The gift comes with the responsibility of purpose. Discipline is what gives it longevity. The more time I spend with the art, the more familiar I become with its presence in my life and I can be bold in my intimate connection with the world. I learn to flow with it, to let it breathe. I learn to love and respect it, showing honor in my daily existence.

Ancestry & Artistic Activism

As an activist, I teach and use my art to celebrate the beauty of ancestry while exploring the deep roots of trauma and oppression within the Black community and the world at large. I aim to repair and bridge the gap between muffled/marginalized peoples throughout society. I’ve collaborated on developmental outreach projects with non-profits and have produced shows and workshops for men, women, and children of all ages from diverse backgrounds. I teach classes on artistic activism and leadership through developing your creative identity and understanding the purpose and impact of your voice.

Artist Philosophy

Art is meant to induce thought and produce conversations for change. I use this as the key philosophy in my personal work as well as other projects and collaborations. Currently, the key themes of my art revolve around oneness and unity of spirit, the clash of Identity between the individual and the collective, the sexual liberation and cultural representation of black men, the healing effects of pleasure on trauma, and reintroducing Caribbean and West African folklore to the modern day.

Professional Portfolio

My portfolio consists of print work and live performances; modeling; BDSM and exhibitionism; storytelling in written, spoken, animated and illustrated forms among other things. I have worked with many known artists and activists, both on the local and national level. I have toured the country as both a musical/performance artist as well as a producer, director, co-creator, and liaison to other works. As an individual artist my work has been showcased throughout the Smithsonian Institute and at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC. I am currently touring as the manager/creative director/ co-producer of the Daughter of A Nymph Divine stage work. I am also the cultural and spiritual liaison to the film, which debuted at the 2026 Seattle Black Film Festival.

Lingy Adonis: Embodied Sex & Superconsciousness

Lingy Adonis is an erotic collection of photos, performances, and workshops that explores Black manhood, sexual liberation and growth; utilizing the male form as both subject and canvas. A reimagining of the Black Man and what his sexual and spiritual capabilities are when developed with conscious appreciation. It explores the space of sexual ritual and ancestry as a means of cultural change and spiritual sankofa. Fighting oppression through the reclamation of black bodies and black pleasure identity.

The Outlawed

Dark Children is a collection of visual, written, and auditory works produced under the pseudonym ‘R.B. Outlaw’. These works explore the harsh, grittier side of sexual trauma and abuse, death and depression, suicide and sickness, extreme poverty, terror-induced mental illness and psychosis among the youth and young adult populations of American society.

Memoirs of A Rebel Mind

MoRM is a living philosophical work consisting of poems, haikus, short stories, and audio commentaries. These pieces deal with existentialism, liberation and personal development, sex magic and the role of pleasure in the unification of self. I explore the concept of god, spiritual alchemy, and tantra as a path to exploring grief.
